George Carlin has died. He was a brilliant man, though his jokes could have been just as funny without the blue streak that ran through them.
And yes, those are the Seven Dirty Words, censored, that he became famous for.
I honestly liked his humor, his wit, his biting sarcasm. But I think it became expected of him to drop bleeped words into his routine to the point he became almost a caricature of who he really was.
He's gone to join Richard Pryor on stage. So dim the lights and let the censors rattle off one last long bleep.
