I have two beautiful siamese kitties, Sheba and Sheena.

Reneé went up to Youngstown to visit Jenny, Darryl and all the grandkids. She went up the 3rd and is coming back Friday.
Both Siamese are generally easy going and, like all cats, they like to explore. So occasionally, one or the other will get shut in a closet or room. And we always know which one. If Sheba gets locked in, Sheena will stand outside the door and mew plaintively. If Sheena happens to be the one to get locked in, she just mews plaintively and hopes you will hear her. Sheba, on the other hand, will only let you know Sheena has been locked in a room by sitting outside the door and staring at you.
I tell you all that because last night, Sheena was sitting outside the door to the spare room, mewing. Her sister was laying in the living room, not 10 feet from her but that didn't stop her. I'm fairly convinced she thought I had accidentally shut Reneé in the spare room and she couldn't get out.
And they say cats are aloof and have no personality <rolls eyes>
